Click-to-dial is a feature that is available on the Voys Plugin extension. Click-to-dial enables you to call phone numbers found on web pages by simply clicking on the telephone icon that appears behind the phone number. The call is automatically established on your VoIP phone or Softphone, whichever VoIP account you have linked to Click-to-dial.
Installing the Voys plugin on your Firefox web browser
Install the Voys plugin by clicking here.
A pop-up will appear, click on Add. Follow the prompts thereafter.
Installing the Voys plugin on your Chrome web browser
Go to the Chrome Web Store and search: Voys Plugin.
Click on the blue Add to Chrome button.
A pop-up will appear in your browser with the prompt: "Add Voys plugin". Click Add extension
Once Google is done Checking, the extension will be installed. The greyed out Voys logo icon now appears in the top right-hand corner of your web browser.
Log in using your User login details.
Once you are logged in, the Voys logo icon will no longer be greyed out. The extension is now active and ready to use!
Toggle your availability
Go to ‘Availability’ and click on the drop-down menu. Select the device you would like to receive calls on.
View your colleagues' availability
Go to ‘Colleagues’ to see which colleagues are available and on which VoIP extensions.
View the status of your Call Queues
Go to ‘Queues’ (if your business has a Call Queue set up) to see the size of all active Queues.
Setting up Click-to-dial
Log in on Freedom
Click 'Account' on the top right-hand corner
Click on your user (e-mail address) or add a new user.
Go to the 'Telephony Settings' tab.
Under 'Click-to-dial', select the VoIP account you want to link for clicking and dialling.
Now go to Chrome or Firefox and search for a contact number. Click on the telephone icon that appears behind the phone number.
The call will automatically be established on your VoIP phone, Webphone, Voys 4G-app or Softphone, whichever VoIP account you have linked to Click-to-dial.
In a few seconds your call will connect to the number that you dialled.
