With a pick up group you can take over incoming calls on another device within the group. This way, you don’t have to run to your colleagues desk to answer the call when you colleague is just getting you a cup of coffee.
Activating the Pickup group.
- Log in on Freedom
- Click on Admin.
- Click on Pickup group and press Add.
- Give a name to the group, for example: Pickup Sales.
- Select all VoIP accounts that are physically in the same room and that you are willing to take over.
- Click on Save and you are done!
How does it work?
If a colleague's phone rings and your colleague cannot answer, you can answer the call using a Group Pickup.

Which devices does it work with?
We haven't tested all devices, but it probably works with almost all VoIP devices.
