Do you want to be able to hear if you are being called by a colleague or a customer? In this guide, you will learn how to set an internal ringtone for your fixed phone, so that an internal call will have a different ringtone than an external call.
First, log in to the web interface of your Yealink device.
Add ringtone for internal calls
- Go to Settings.
- Click on Ring in the left menu.
- Choose which ringtone will be played for Internal Ringer File.
Add a ringtone for a group
- Go to Directory.
- Go to Local directory.
If you haven't created a group yet:
- Click on the gear next to all contacts.
- You have now opened a Group setting.
- Enter the Group name or choose an existing group.
- Indicate which sound you want to play for Ring tone.
- Click on add.
- Change All contacts to the new group.
- Add the right people by pressing New contact.
Tip. A ringtone for one contact is also possible. You can specify this when creating or editing a contact.
Add your own ringtone
- Click on Settings.
- Click on Preference.
- Click on Custom Ring.
- Add your own ringtone here.
- Click on Confirm at the bottom of the page.
