What do you need to configure the integration?
Make sure you have access to the following 'things':
- An admin account on [Freedom] (http://freedom.voys.co.za)
- An active Robin account
- An API key provided by Robin
- A telephone
Settings in Robin
- Click on Settings in the top right corner (the gear icon)
- Click on Team
- Click on Active User
- Fill in your internal telephone extension under 'phone extension'
- Click on save
That's it for the settings in Robin. Really that easy? Yes, it's really that easy, but you still need to do some settings on Freedom
Settings on freedom.voys.co.za Make sure you have access to the API key that Robin has provided you with!
When logging in to Freedom with your admin account, do the following:
- Go to Admin
- Select notifications/conversation notifications.
- Click on 'add'.
- Fill in a description
- Select 'ROBIN' from the 'service' drop-down menu
- Enter your API key provided by Robin
- Save
Are you done? Really? Yes, it's not rocket science.
What does the integration look like?
When you receive a call on your phone from a known phone number, Robin automatically opens the customer card and creates a new call..
Any other tips?
When adding phone numbers, make sure to use the international format, so +2721 012 5000 instead of 0210125000.
