Download the Webphone
The Voys Webphone is a softphone that you can use to make calls via the browser of your laptop or computer.
Before you start.
- You have a user account
- A headset that is connected to your laptop.
- Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge browser.
Which browser?
We recommend using the Webphone through Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. These are the two browsers we support
Chrome
Set up webphone in Chrome
- Go to webphone.voys.co.za
- Log in with your username and password.
- Click Continue
Welcome to Voys Webphone
- You can choose your language here (Dutch, German, or English).
- Click Start.
Select a VoIP account
- Choose the VoIP account you want to use to dial out. The "Web” means that you can dial out via the Webphone.
- Click Go to audio settings.
Pop-up’s
- Click Allow in the popup to give permission to show notifications.
- In the pop-up, give permission to use your microphone
Audio settings
- You should now be able to select the correct headset.
- If the bar of the microphone moves green and the sound tests work correctly.
- Then click on Complete.
My headset is not visible
Install the Webphone
- Click on the 3 dots to the right of your web browser
- Select Install Voys Webphone.
- Click on Install.
- The Webphone now opens on a separate screen.
You can now make calls through your browser. To be able to receive incoming calls, put yourself as a user or the VoIP account of the Webphone to your dialing plan.
Microsoft Edge
Set up webphone in Microsoft Edge
- Go to webphone.voys.co.za
- Login with your username and password.
- Click continue.
