What optimisation apps does Samsung have?

• Android 11: Battery optimization, Auto-optimize, Adaptive battery, Adaptive power-saving, Background restrictions, lists of Sleeping apps, Unused apps, Deep sleeping apps, Never sleeping apps
• Android Pie and higher: Device care, Background restrictions, lists of Sleeping apps, Unused apps, Auto-disable unused apps

How to find the Android version of your Samsung device

The steps to find the current OS version vary by device. Below are general instructions that work for most Android devices.

To find out which Android OS is on your device:

• Go to 'Settings'.
• Scroll to and click 'About Phone' or 'About Device'.
• Tap 'Android Version' to display your version information.

Additional Samsung Settings:

• After 3 days, any unused app will not be able to start from the background
• When you remove an app from the restricted list, Samsung may re-add it later after a firmware update or when it thinks it is using too many resources!
