A VoIP account
A VoIP account is responsible for the registration of the Webphone so that the central system recognizes your Webphone as part of your customer account.
You can recognize a Webphone VoIP account by the laptop icon in front of it on Freedom.
Setting up a VoIP account
- Log in to Freedom
- Click on Admin
- Click on Users
- Click on your user (email address).
- Go to the Telephony Settings tab. There are two options.
Existing VoIP Account
- Select the VoIP account you want to use for your Webphone under Webphone account.
- Click on save at the bottom of the page.

Creating a new VoIP account
- Click on + New VoIP account under VoIP account to create a new VoIP account.
- Provide a description.
- Select the correct outgoing number.
- Select the correct call access.
- Press save.
- Go to Webphone account.
- Select the newly created VoIP account.
- Click on save at the bottom of the page.
Your user can now use the Webphone.
