Voys supports H264 and H263+ for video calling
This is possible with luxury phone devices and certain Softphones. To be able to make video calls, you first need to enable 'videosupport' under your VoIP account.
You can do this as follows:
Go to your VoIP account onĀ freedom.voys.co.za
- Admin
- Click the VoIP account you want to use e.g 201 Philip
- Click on the 'Advanced SIPĀ Settings'Ā tab and go to the 'ExpertĀ Options"Ā field.
- Here you can see that 'videosupport=no'. Change this to 'yes'.
- Then click on 'Save'.
Video support is turned off by default to make the SIP packets smaller. Some routers cannot handle these larger SIP packets.
Note: Video calling is only possible with calls within our platform (Voys to Voys)
