What is happening?
If the message "No base" appears on the display of your handset, it could have various causes:
- Your handset is out of range of your base station.
- Your handset is not (anymore) connected to the base station.
The solution
- Restart the Gigaset base station to be sure. You can do this by disconnecting the power (for at least 5 seconds). The base station may be a black or white box with a blue-lit button on it. It will say Gigaset N300 or Gigaset N510 respectively.
- Try calling again with your handset within a radius of 5 meters from your base station. Can you make a call now? Then it has to do with the range.
The range can be limited by various factors, such as the placement of the base station or the materials present in the office space. A Gigaset Repeater may improve the situation, please contact us and we will be happy to discuss it with you!
If the message No base keeps appearing on your display, there is a high probability that your handset has (accidentally) become disconnected from the base station. Please contact us and we will help you resolve the issue.
