The Webphone is no longer active when I have been away from my laptop for a while

Web browsers want to put tabs or applications that are not used for a long time to sleep. This all has to do with the importance of battery conservation. Our Webphone is not in charge of these functions. As a laptop user, you should therefore 'tell' your browsers and/or laptop yourself that you do not want that.

Is this already checked, but is the Webphone still not active? Then check the settings of your computer:
Check Prevent sleep/hibernation mode in the Webphone.

We do have a number of things under control from our Webphone. You can enable this by doing the following.

  • Open de Webphone.
  • Go to Settings
  • Scroll all the way down and go to General
  • Check Prevent sleep mode/hibernation

  • Check also on your PC as suggested below
Windows
Turn off the laptop's power-saving mode.

When memory activity exceeds 80%, the Webphone can also be shut down. This should also be turned off.

Adjust web browser sleep mode.
  • Open de Webphone.
  • Press the three dots
  • Press App information
  • Press Settings at the bottom
  • Press More Settings and permissions

MacOS
Turn off the laptop's power-saving mode.
  • Go to System Preferences of your Macbook.
  • Click Battery
  • Then click on the Batter tab.
  • Turn off Energy Saving Mode
Adjust web browser sleep mode.
  • Open de Webphone.
  • Press the three dots
  • Press App information
  • Press Settings at the bottom
  • Press More Settings and permissions
