Set BLF and/or Speed dial

Is your colleague available, or do you want to reach a colleague with one press of a button? Then use the BLF and Speeddial options in your Yealink phone.

Find the IP address of the device

• Press the ok button or
• Go to the menu of the phone.
• Select Status.
• (On a computer that is on the same network as the phone) Enter the IP address of the phone into the web browser.
• Log in with the username admin and the password admin, or username voys and password freedom.

Set up BLF

With a BLF (Busy Lamp Field), you can see which colleagues are on a call.

Note: Line Key1 is in use by your own VoIP account. To prevent confusion, do not use this key for other applications.

• Go to Admin.
• Click on the VoIP account.
• Behind the VoIP account, you will see an Account ID.
• Copy the Account ID of your colleague.

Go back to the Yealink Web interface.

• Go to Dsskey.
• Go to Line Key2<.
• Choose BLF under Type.
• Fill in the VoIP account ID of your colleague under Value.
• Put the name of your colleague under Label.
• Select Line 1 under Line.
• Type the colleague’s extension under Extension, e.g. 206.
• Click on Confirm.

Set up Speed Dial

To quickly call a colleague on an external number, use Speed Dial.

• Go to Dsskey.
• Go to Line Key2<.
• Choose Speed Dial under Type.
• Fill in the external phone number under Value starting with +27 (replacing 0).
• Put the name of your colleague under Label.
• Leave the Extension empty.
• Click on Confirm.
