Note for South Africa Users

Our telephony services in South Africa operate differently from other regions. We do not have a fixed IP range there—instead, we use dynamic IPs that may change during maintenance or scaling.

To avoid service interruptions, we recommend not hard-coding IP addresses into your firewall. Instead, use flexible firewall settings that can adapt to these changes.

Allowlisting IP ranges from Voys for telephony services

It is absolutely not recommended to connect an IP-PBX directly to the internet without using a firewall. The risk of a 'hack' of an unsecured PBX is very high.

To ensure reliable connectivity and optimal performance of our telephony platform, we recommend allowlisting our full IP range in your firewall settings. This approach helps prevent connectivity issues by enabling IP traffic to and from our platform without unnecessary restrictions.

Please configure your firewall to allow the following IP addresses:

IPv4 Ranges

  • 195.35.114.0/23
    • Covers: 195.35.114.0 – 195.35.114.255
    • Covers: 195.35.115.0 – 195.35.115.255
  • 185.103.76.0/22
    • Covers: 185.103.76.0 – 185.103.79.255
  • 45.155.212.0/22
    • 45.155.212.0 t/m 45.155.215.255

IPv6 Range (for Webhooks only)

  • 2a06:2a80::/29

Important: We do not recommend restricting by ports, as VoIP devices use dynamic port assignments and typically operate over UDP by default.

  • Always use the range as indicated above and not just the IP addresses of individual servers. IP addresses can change or new IP addresses may be put into use.
  • Our telephony platform also has advanced fraud detection. This means a hack of a PBX is quickly detected and the trunk is closed for outgoing traffic. However, this extra safety net is not a replacement for properly securing an IP-PBX.
  • When using hosted telephony behind a router, additional firewall settings are generally not necessary.
