Import shared contacts in the portal how do you do?
You can upload contacts directly into the portal. This improves caller identification across all your devices and makes it easier to dial from the Voys app and Webphone.
The contact book, where you can import your contacts, will also be used to perform Caller ID lookups. Simply put, if the contact information stored for a contact matches the incoming phone number, this information will be displayed in the app, on the webphone, and on the deskphone as well.
Step 1 — Export your Google Contacts
- Open Google Contacts.
- Click Export in the side menu.
- Choose Google CSV as the format.
- Save the file to your computer.
Step 2 — Import into Freedom
- Log in to Freedom.
- Go to Admin → Import shared contacts (Beta).
- Select the file and start the import.
If a phone number already exists in your contacts, that contact will be skipped during import.
