Algo SIP Alerter
An Algo SIP Alerter is a network-based audio or visual notification device that connects to your VoIP system via SIP. It’s commonly used in environments where a traditional phone ring isn't loud or visible enough (e.g. warehouses, factories, or noisy offices). In this page we explain how to setup this device so it will work with our platform.
Algo offers visual and audible SIP-compatible endpoints for alerting. These can be useful in noisy environments or where a quiet environment is desired.
Setting up these devices is simple. On a single page, you configure the SIP details and it works.
- Navigate to the Basic Settings - SIP tab.
- Enter sipproxy.voipgrid.nl for the SIP Domain (Proxy Server).
- Enter the Account ID of the VoIP account in both the Ring/Alert Extension and Authentication ID fields.
- Enter the corresponding password of the Account ID in the Authentication Password field.
- Then click Save.
