Download the app for Android
In this page you can read exactly how to download the app for your Android phone.
Downloading the app
Download the app from the PlayStore.
Logging into the App
Log in to the app. Use the same credentials you use to log in to your portal.
Add Mobile number
- Enter your mobile phone number, use the country prefix +## instead place of 0, e.g. +34###### instead of 0######.
Take note of the code according to your country
e.g +27
, +32
- Check if you see the correct outgoing fixed number. This is the number that your customer sees when you call them.
Granting permission
- The app asks you to give permission for the following phone components:
- Contacts
- Microphone
- Notifications
We need permission so you can use the app properly.
The app can now be used to make outgoing calls. If you also want to receive incoming calls, make sure your app account or user account is included in the dial plan.
The app does not work well in combination with the queue module!
Battery optimization
- The app asks to be excluded from the battery optimization. We strongly recommend this because it makes it easier for our servers to 'wake up' the app and offer a conversation. Our app consumes very little battery when idle.
- The app can now be used to make calls. If you also want to receive incoming calls, make sure that your app account or user account is included in the dialplan.
FAQ
- First, we recommend checking the dial plan to ensure it's functioning correctly before investigating potential issues with the app.
- Check if your phone and the app are up to date. Ensure both are running the latest versions before proceeding further.
- Avoid using Wi-Fi. Use your mobile data instead. This is recommended for better call connectivity, as audio often suffers first from Wi-Fi network hiccups. This advice is based on how Wi-Fi operates, not the quality of your Wi-Fi.
- If this doesn't resolve the issue, turn off your Bluetooth. Some devices can interfere with audio or affect the ringing of your phone. Afterward, test your phone a few times with Wi-Fi turned off to see if it performs better on mobile data.
- Still having trouble? Turn off both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, and try moving to a different location. Interference from walls or other devices, or a weak signal from your mobile provider, could be the problem. See if the issue persists in a different area.
- If you’re still experiencing problems, please enable remote logging:
- Open the app.
- Go to Profile.
- Navigate to App Preferences.
- Scroll down to Debugging.
- Turn on Remote Logging.
- Click Send under Send Today’s Activity.
- Contact us by email.
- Please reach out to us and provide 2 or 3 examples of the issues you're experiencing. These can be from earlier in the day; include the timestamps and/or phone numbers involved.
- Also, describe what seems to be going wrong.
- We will contact you if we need more information and will work to identify the issue.
- Please be aware that the steps above are often the only options we have and frequently provide a solution.
This is due to local caching of your mobile android device. The old data is still stored in your android, and not updated with the new one. The only solution is to remove the app and reinstall it, every time you want to switch app accounts.
