Call Through

When to use this function?

Sometimes your internet connection is so poor that calling via VoIP is not possible. Even in that case, the app offers the possibility to make outgoing calls with your business number. This happens via Call Through. This functionality works as follows.

Setting up a Call Through call

  • Enter the phone number you want to call.
  • Press call.
  • Your mobile provider now calls an 085 number from Voys.
  • Press call again.

Our 085 number then forwards the call to the number you have chosen.

We cover these forwarding costs. The receiving party will simply see your business number.

The costs for calling this number are charged by your mobile provider and are usually covered by your calling plan.

Call Through and call recording

Calls with the Voys App via call through are not recorded. Call recording for outgoing calls works via VoIP accounts or a trunk. Call Through is not that. When you call a customer, your mobile provider first calls a Voys 085 number. Our 085 number then forwards the call to the number you have chosen.
