IP-PBX Static Connection

IP-PBX Static Connection

This help page explains how to establish a static IP-PBX connection to the Voys platform.

How to do it

You can connect your IP-PBX statically to our platform. We actually prefer it! If it's possible to choose static settings, please do so! It has proven to be more reliable than dynamic registration.

For a static configuration, you can reference the following two proxies:

  • sip01.voys.nl
  • sip02.voys.nl

On Freedom, enter the domain or IP address of your PBX and the port on which it can be reached in the advanced trunk settings.

Is it possible to enter a username and password in your PBX? This is highly recommended for security reasons. If your phone system doesn't have the ability to enter a username/password, uncheck the 'Authenticate INVITE's' option. We also recommend entering the IP address (or IP range) of your phone system!

Please note that you need to set up port forwarding to your PBX if it's located behind a router.

With the settings above, no registration on our platform is required. We now know where to deliver incoming calls, and your phone system can deliver outgoing calls to one of our proxy servers.
