What is your issue? | Solution | Why? |
I hear ‘Press 1 to answer this call’ when I pickup my phone. | How do I disable this?
• Log in to Freedom
• Go to Dial plans
• Click on the phone number where you receive calls from.
• In the dial plan, look for where your call group is located.
◦ Click on the call group.
◦ Go to call confirmation
◦ Set this to None
▪ Note! If there are other colleagues in the call group, you will also need to disable this function for them. | You will receive this message if you have call confirmation enabled for your mobile phone. This ensures that your client does not reach your mobile voicemail. |
I want my business phone number in the phone directory | • Log in to Freedom.
• Click on Account in the top right.
• Go to Administration.
• Click on Directory Listing.
• Click on Add.
• Enter the company name that you want to be visible in the phone directory.
• Specify which address should be associated with this phone number.
• Enter the phone number or phone numbers that you want to have in the directory.
• Specify how you want your number to be published.
• Click on Save. | With this action, the number will be listed for free in the phone directory and with number information services. You can determine where each number is registered. The number can of course also remain private.
The number will appear in the next phone directory and will be available from number information services within a month. |
An old/new colleague's user account is still visible | You've added or removed a colleague, but their information is still (not) visible in the app. You can resolve this by logging out and then logging back in to the app. | |
How can I make anonymous calls? | You can make anonymous/suppressed calls by placing *31* before the phone number you want to call.
• Log in to Freedom.
• Click on 'Admin' in the menu bar.
• Choose 'VoIP account'.
• Click on the VoIP account with which you want to make anonymous calls.
• Scroll to Outgoing number (Caller ID) and check the box for "suppress".
• Press Save |
