How do I set up my Yealink?
This help page provides detailed step-by-step setup instructions for Yealink desk phones, covering both T4XU/T5XW and T4XS series models for seamless integration with our VoIP telephony platform.

Yealink T4XU/T5XW
Finding the IP address of the device
- Press the OK button or
- Go to the menu of the phone.
- Select Status.
- Go (on a computer that is in the same network as the phone) to the IP address of the phone in a web browser. Note! Use https://
- Log in with the username admin and the password admin.
Linking your Yealink to a VoIP account
- Go to the Account tab.
- Fill in your internal number at Label and Display name.
- Fill in the Account ID of your VoIP account at Register name and User name.
- For this, go to Freedom.
- Click on Admin
- Then click on VoIP account.
- You'll see the account ID next to the VoIP account. Hover over it to copy it.
- For Password, enter the password of your VoIP account.
- Hover over the password next to the same VoIP account to copy it.


Register your Yealink with the Freedom platform
Copy the settings from the screenshot below.
Find out which Server Host you can use in this page.

- Click on Confirm.
- At Register Status, it will now show registered.
Other settings

- Click on Codec.
- Make sure only PCMA (G711.a) is enabled as codec.
- Click on Confirm.

- Click on Advanced.
- Set the UDP Keep-alive Interval to 15 seconds.
- Set RPort to enabled.
- Click on Confirm.

- We recommend separating the local SIP port for each device.
- Go to the Settings tab.
- Click on Sip to adjust it.
- The Local SIP Port depends on your VoIP account ID. For example, if your account ID is 123400007, you would fill in 5067 here. Take the last digits of your VoIP account and add them to 5060. So you get 5060+007=5067. This makes each Local SIP Port unique and easier for your router.
- Click on Confirm.
